I am Adam Hurst, an industrial and marine designer driven by passion and innovation. With a B.F.A. in Industrial Design and Marine Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I bring a strategic and detail-oriented approach to design.
In my recent design roles, I played a pivotal part in bringing new boats to life by utilizing tools like Rhino, Ship Constructor, and AutoCAD. My technical skills span Rhino 3D, Keyshot, AutoCAD, Ship Constructor, Navis Works, and Microsoft Office, reflecting my versatility. I am also an experienced freelance designer, creating hand sketches for initial interior floor plans and in-game artwork.
Collaboration has been a constant theme in my career. Working closely with engineers and cross-platform specifications, I demonstrated adaptability, effective communication, and teamwork. In a recent role as Marine Designer I, I took a leading role in developing production-ready models as well as overseeing projects from conception to completion.
With a solid foundation in industrial and marine design, coupled with a diverse skill set and a history of successful collaborations, I am a valuable asset to any design team seeking innovation and excellence.
